Serpska Kraina used to be a declared by the Serbian forces and the Yugoslav Federal Army independent state in the area around Knin
(a small town in southern Croatia). Proclaimed by 1992, it existed till 1995. The currency unit in Serpska Kraina was the dinar, vastly
devalued; the banknotes had denominations among the highest in the world in 1990ies. Now this area is again a part of Croatia.
