The jordani dinar was introduced in 1950, when it replaced the palestinian pound. Until 1964 the issue of banknotes was under control of Jordan Monetary Circulation Board in London. Since 1964 it's done by the Central Bank of Jordan. 1 dinar equals 1000 fils.
